Clean & Clear Plus by Pentair uses 4 non-woven, polyester filter cartridges in an injection-molded, fiberglass-reinforced tank.
Cartridge filters do not require backwashing and greatly reduce water consumption. Cartridge filters effectively remove particles as small as 30 microns (beach sand is 1000 microns). And cartridge filters can handle much higher flow than sand filters, especially suitable for higher horsepower pumps.
The Clean and Clear Plus 320 has an effective filtration area of 320 square feet and a flow rate of 120 gpm. The Clean and Clear Plus 240 has an effective filtration area of 320 square feet and a flow rate of 90gpm.
